Worm Geared Motors available from Cobalt Controls Ltd
can be used in any mounting position and are available in
the following five sizes:
CCW063, CCW050, CCW040, CCW030 and CCW026.
Maximum available output torque is 100 Nm at 30 rpm,
using the 063 size Gearbox, the largest in the range.
Gearbox housings are manufactured from die cast
aluminium alloy for light weight and are designed for
maximum flexibility with up to twenty possible positions
for mounting bolts.
To give high load capability and long service life, only
metal gears are used with the output shaft supported on
Ball Bearings. Hollow Output Shafts are standard and
single or double sided solid shafts are also available. All
Gearboxes are pre-filled with synthetic oil and are
maintenance free for life.
Motors are 12 or 24 Volt DC Permanent Magnet offering
high Starting Torque. Rotary encoders are available on
most motors - see data sheets for details.
Worm Gearboxes are mechanically robust and normally
the most economically priced of all gearbox types.
